Plot at a Glance
Four factions try to organise a rebellion against the empire that invaded them. Meanwhile, the empire slowly loses its grasp on its finances, troops, and line of succession. Magic realism, a wide variety of factions, and the potential for any character to rise - or fall - as far as their player can plot.
The Bawdy Priest A tavern as seedy as it is cheap, located in the middle of nowhere smack bang on a trade route. Rooms for the night, ale, mead and wine, and men and women of negotiable affections can all be found here. Innumerable shady dealings go on within its veritable warren of rooms and halls. The premises extends several hundred feet underground, with some passageways long since caved in and many doors locked with both magic and mundane means.
Helwy Palace The Eimlasene capital's royal palace. Within can be found all nature of people. The predominant type are nobility and royalty of the Eimlas, Seers of Ilas, and any visiting foreign dignitaries, here on either a temporary basis or a permanent one, such as ambassadors.
Eimyule Safe Zone From the outskirts of the city to the end of the Eimlasene Peninsula, fewer Dothorne natives venture here and so the ruling class feel freer to travel and work the land. Many Eimlasene nobles have their estates here, preferring to keep city residences small and modest to avoid the wrath of rioting mobs. This area lasts until just a few miles west of The Bawdy Priest.
Indric Plains Vast seas of grass and desert span as far as the eye can see, the mountains of Eriador framing the horizon. The Indric Fire-Dancers rove freely here, unchecked and even a little feared by the Eimlas patrols. There are two main camps, about 15km apart, and many secret caves and habitual meeting places hidden from those who have not the right eyes to see.
Forest of Azanith The Forest Nomads lurk around every corner, though you would not know it at a glance. The trees stretch high into the sky, the floor is peppered with leaf litter and parasitic plants alike, and the rivers run soft and clear through winding valleys.
Ananuk Mountains The mountains are perilous even in the best of times. Fierce creatures, some mortal, some otherworldly, stalk the labyrinthine passes. Erwen's Acolytes have claimed the mountains as their own, and any who stray too close to their dominion frequently find themselves victims of untimely death in one way or another.
Alternate Universe What would your character be like if they lived in the modern world? The future? A steam-punk dystopia where cats rule the world and the rivers are green with algae? Find out in here.
